Time for Easter Eggs!

Spencer seemed to enjoy coloring his Easter eggs this year! He didn't want to dip them in the dye, he just wanted to paint on them!

Conference Weekend

Grandma and Grandpa gave me a golf set and a new ball. We had a lot of fun playing in the yard and going for walks. I love to be outside!
Grandma Roberts and Spencer

Stephanie and Nate showing off their Easter egg decorating skills... Let's just say we were all in competition and Stephanie won!

Jen, Spencer, and Grandma with our Easter eggs!

Spencer rolling his egg back and forth on his tray... Some things are just more entertaining when you're little!

Basketball Battle Wound

Nick called from work on Friday and said his buddy, Clark from work, had invited us to join him and his wife Jen at the Basketball game. I thought it sounded like great fun, so Spencer and I got all ready and met Nick at his office at 7:00 and headed to the game. We were having a great time visiting, watching the game and eating Nachos. Spencer was having fun playing with their little daughter and watching the game. He kept saying B-Ball over and over while clapping for anything that seemed fun! Things were going great and then... a sudden trip and he fell. Landing his lip on the corner of a cement step - perfect hit (how do they do that?) Needless to say, it was sad! His three front teeth went through his upper lip leaving three gushing holes for blood! Truly it didn't bleed too long, but Nick was panicked and he had to pull himself together to hand me wipes and call his Brother Marc for medical advice. We ended up not taking him to the Hospital after the EMT from the arena took a look at him. We eased the pain with Motrin, Apple juice and Popsicles. Nick gave him a fathers blessing and we hoped everything would not scar too badly. Update: (Uncle Marc called to check on Spencer and we were able to report that he had a swollen lip for a few days, but didn't seem bothered by it. Things are healing awesome , and you almost can't tell that he even got hurt! )

Weekend with Nate

Nate came to Boise for a State Student Body meeting, so we got to hang out with him for a few days. We spent Saturday morning trying, along with a million other freshman on-line, to get Nate signed up for the dorms at BYU next year. We finally got logged in, and accomplished getting his name on a list to sign up in April... I love the way colleges don't plan for computer overloads and lots of students. Welcome to college life 101... why I can never get the classes I need, football tickets, housing, or a date :o) hahaha! Good Luck Nate!

Nate and Spencer just playing around!

This is Spencer having a blast at the Outback!

We love good food and fun times. We went and saw InkHeart at the theater after dinner. Nick read the book and said he thought the movie was way better, which he never says. I thought it was fun and unique. All weekend I kept telling Nick how much I enjoyed the move - I may have been in just the right mood, but I thought it was a must see! (Nothing more than entertaining, but worth going to!)

Congratulations Chad and Sarah!

We went to Utah for a quick trip! We were there about 21 hours total... We arrived at 7:00 Saturday night and had to leave at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday. (Busy Tax Season! Need I say more...) But, it was totally worth seeing little baby Alex! He is so cute and precious! He really does look like he just took a trip to the beach. I was jealous of his tan skin and frost tipped hair! It was fun to spend time with Chad and Sarah, and Spencer had a blast with Audrey! We only wished we could have stayed for a whole week!

We practiced saying the name 'Audrey' and 'Alex' on the way down to Utah. Spencer said Audrey like, "Aw...E" and then when we asked his to say Alex he ROARED like a lion. We kept saying, "No say, A-L-E-X!" Then, "ROAR..." is all we got. Finally we put it together. He has been watching the movie Madagascar quite a bit, and the main character is a Lion named ALEX! So he's Brilliant after all. He knew exactly who Alex the lion was! Every time we let him look at the baby we would say Alex and Spencer let out a roar. It was actually quite cute!

Spencer and Audrey putting on a Rock-n-Roll concert for all of us to enjoy! They played really well together and had a great time. I wish they could play together a lot more.

Holding little Alex made Nick really excited for baby Number 2! Good thing he or she is already on the way. We're so excited! (However, seeing how tired Sarah was and her sleepless nights made me think I've already got my hands full with one!) Too late to reconsider... all-nighters here we come!

Trip to Arizona

We took family pictures while we were there!

Spencer with Grandma and Grandpa Tobler

Nick had a business training in Scottsdale, Arizona....So the Tobler's flew Spencer and I out to visit. We had a party while Nick hung out in meetings all day. Nick was done on Thursday, so he did get to spend the weekend with the family. We had fun shopping, eating out, going to the Broadway show Lion King, being at Caroline's baptism, and Spencer loved the ZOO! He begged to go back and see the Elephants all week!

Christmas Eve Talent Show

Every year the Roberts have a talent show for Christmas. Here is Spencer showing off! He's so cute!

A White Christmas

Spencer loved all the movies on the iphone this year!

Nick and Spencer Christmas morning... Santa brought him a red and white soccer ball, an igloo tent, and little treats and toys in his stocking. Spencer was way impressed! He loved all of his gifts from grandparents, cousins, uncle Nathan etc.

Christmas Eve... new pajamas...thanks, thanks!

Telling the story of Baby Jesus. I insisted that Spencer play Jesus this year. He did great... he sat really quietly and kept saying baby, baby over and over again!

Christmas Eve dinner as a family! It was strange not to be in California with Grandma and Grandpa Tibbitts. We had fun, but we were talking all night about the memories of Christmas' past!
