This is where the real excitement begins... Waiting in line to feed the giraffes! Ever since last Christmas Spencer has been talking about going back to the zoo to feed the giraffes (1/6 of his life time - I might add!) When he realized that both of his Grandmas would be in Arizona at the same time and we could all go the zoo together it was icing on the cake! No kidding this has been the greatest adventure of them all. He said over and over, "It be so fun to feed the giraffes at the zoo with two grandmas! I so excited! That's cool huh mommy... it's awesome. I can't wait!" Then on the airplane he would say stuff like, "I sleep at Grandma Tobler's house and Grandma Roberts sleeps there too! I will get to play with both of my grandmas..." I asked him why he was so excited and he replied, "Cus' my grandmas are s-o NICE to me!"

I don't know what came over her, but she was fascinated by a soft fuzzy looking cactus - yep, she touched it and ended up with small pricks all over her hand that did not brush off. I think Kristi worked at it for a while to get them all out!

Happy Mother's Day!

It has been a long time since Spencer fell asleep on my shoulder. He was so cute and peaceful laying there I didn't want to move. What a sweet and tired little guy!

The other day it was really quiet in the living room. When I went to see where Spencer was he proudly showed me his sticker design across the couch.

Check out this piece of work!!! My friend Salena (who happens to be in YW with me) called on Wednesday (the Wed. before Mother's day) and inquired something about bath salts from a previous YW activity I helped with. I asked her what she was doing with Bath Salts. She then went on to explain that her Husband Jarron (Sunday School President) was assigned the night before to have something in church on Sunday for all the Women in the ward for Mother's Day. My head started turning... not much time, bath salts, Nick happens to be the 1st counselor in the Sunday School Pres., and hey what the heck - I'd love to help!! Salena found a cute idea on Sugardoodle and we got going. The bottom is full of bath salts and the rest... you can see for yourself. Funny though - we thought these bad boys would only take a few hours. Seriously we were laughing when we both thought we are almost done. And I quote, "Holy cow we must be practically done... look how many we have made! What is the head count?" Brief pause... "The cups are in sleeves of 25 and we have done 2, so.... what?! We're not even half way yet!"

What a Shock!!

Let's just say our Husbands both brought us home pizza for dinner that night! It was worth it!

Guess who went into the MTC this past Wednesday?! Yeah my little brother Nate, who is now way taller and bigger than me! He will be in the Mission Training Center for a couple of months and then off to Texas where he will serve for 2 years - Teaching the people and spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ. I am so proud of his excitement and sacrifice to be serving a mission. Missionaries are only able to write letters on their preparation day and they have a lot of other things to get done as well. I figured there are a lot of you that would like to keep up and know how things are going, so I have started a BLOG dedicated to Nate while he is on his mission. I will be updating it with photos and letters when I get them. Please check out the Blog if you are interested in hearing what he is up to. It will also have his current mailing address... Those missionaries sure do appreciate mail from family and friends. Nate we love you and are so thrilled for you! All our love, Your Family

A Day at the Park!

Nick got a table saw for Christmas this year and he's been aching to try it out on something big! We've had a lot of plans, and a few practice runs. This weekend we busted out the big stuff... Garage Shelves!!! Holy Cow we are so proud of our handy work - not to mention they are even level! Amazing...

We worked on them all day Saturday, and then got the garage cleaned up. What a great weekend project!

Check out all that extra space we created. I am in love with organization. I'm afraid we're going to have to build more on the other side. It's just great to have all that stuff off the floor!

Bike Ride with the Boys

This was Landon's first time! What a stud! Spencer put his arm around his little brother and fed him snacks the whole time. What a great little outing!

Landon is Crawling!

This is only the beginning! He was getting super fast at his scoot-crawl and then he decided to go for the real thing. Landon loves toys and will do anything to get to them. He gets his eye set on something he wants and then shoots off in that direction. It's fun to see the boys playing together. Which reminds me, Spencer has decided that all of his "old" toys are once again awesome and totally engaging. Not to mention the fact that I keep catching him in Landon's swing, bouncer, and saucer. He's a little too big, but what do I care - He's occupied and entertained!

Coloring eggs has never been a strong point for any of us. As a matter of fact we just try to not have the ugliest egg. This year was no different... however, Anna seemed to take things a little more serious. She even asked for a rubber band! Let's just say Anna won by a long shot!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Spencer got the movie Land Before Time for Valentine's Day. I insisted it was a must have because he loves dinosaurs so much... I cried through the whole first half! What a worthless show. I refuse to own Bambi because the mother dies - Land Before Time same thing! I totally forgot.
