Memorial Day

 We spent the morning riding our bikes around the Green Belt, having a early morning picnic, and playing on the toys.

We spent the rest of the afternoon at Jen's Aunt and Uncle the Hymas'.  We swam in the pool, had a BBQ and enjoyed visiting with all the family that was in town.  We had a wonderful day.  Plus the weather was fantastic!

 Yeah! We are all back together again!

 Spencer & Nate - He has been waiting for 2 long years to see his Uncle Nate get home from his mission.  He prays each night that he will be able to serve a mission in Texas some day :o)  The other day we were driving around and I pointed to the missionaries riding their bikes down the street.  For no reason I started to explain that missionaries always have to be with their companion.... You're never on your own - you always serve with someone else etc.  Immediately Spencer started crying and asked his what was wrong.  He said, "But I really want to go to Texas on my mission and not everyone will go to Texas."  Some how he thought by having a companion it might mean he would have to serve somewhere else.  I assured him that had nothing to do with it and for the time being said he could continue to plan his mission to Texas.  I hope by the time he reaches 19 he either goes to Texas or realizes that any place is just fine :o) I love you cute Spencer guy!

Birthday Time

 Yep - I turned 30 this year!  All of a sudden it didn't seem that cool anymore.  I did enjoy the day though.  I met up with a group of friend at the park and enjoyed a nice picnic and let the kids play. We celebrated by going out to dinner at Texas Roadhouse and I came home to a house full of 30 balloons.  Each one with a message from friends telling me how special I am.  I appreciate having such wonderful friends. 

  

 Cherry Cheesecake (my personal favorite)  Thanks to my Aunt Lynae who came by to wish me a Happy Birthday and dropped of a pie.  She has inside sources (my mom), so she always seems to surprise me with a favorite something or other!  Thanks Lynae.

Decorating Easter Eggs

 Since we were out of town over Easter we didn't get to dye our own eggs, so we decided to have an egg coloring party when we got back.

 Check out the giant bunny I found at an after Easter sale... Fifty cents I kid you not!  Seriously so cool.  I can't wait to set it in our yard next year!
