Decorating Gingerbread Houses!

Spencer was a little confused... Why not just eat the candy instead of putting it on these houses and just looking at it? So he ate 4 out of 5 candies intended for the gingerbread house.

Everyone was home for Thanksgiving this year - What a treat!

Home Depot

Basically, Nick has decided that his new hobby is woodworking. Thus we end up at Home Depot all the time. We just happened to hit the first Saturday of the month - Kids craft day. What a hit. Spencer had a great time hammering his little frame together. Note the safety glasses. I thought they were unnecessary, but the little man insisted on wearing them for 1/2 the project. What a stud!

I have to admit that I have become pretty excited about this woodworking stuff. I have all sorts of projects lined up for me and Nick to do.

Like father, like son! Aren't they manly working on their projects!

Fun in the Yard

Here is my first digital scrapbooking page ever. Oh, and this is Nick! Maybe just maybe I do have some artistic talent in me. These photos came from our day in the yard the week after Landon was born. Unfortunately Winter should approach quickly and we won't be spending too much time outside. We sure are glad we put grass in this year. Here's a look at our yard before putting down sod (and this is after it was looking quite a bit nicer from laying top soil)!
